Our story

Hello! We are Daryl and Corinna, the creative husband and wife team behind Places & Spaces Art Co. We began creating travel-themed art prints after completing two epic road trips around California in 2015 and 2016. Thereafter, we wanted to recreate and capture the joy of our travels, using our own photography, sketches and collected paraphernalia as the source material.

We began with creating prints based on our own travels but soon realised that, within the crowded space of Travel Art there was a demand for more personalised pieces, featuring the specific memories of customers.

In 2017 we launched our first bespoke prints, including the bestselling Travel Adventures Map. Since then we have created over 10,000 bespoke and personalised pieces for our customers around the globe.

During the pandemic, we were fortunate that our business grew as the appetite for people to celebrate their travel memories and acquire more thoughtful gifts became ‘a thing’. This enabled us to leave behind previous careers in fashion and advertising for good, and relocate from London to the Dorset coast.

Our promise:

We take pride in our work and to remain authentic, we only produce work inspired by our own or our customers’ real life experiences. Everything is either hand-drawn or designed from scratch by us (with no help from AI!). We print, frame and pack everything in our home studio to retain the highest standards of production.
